Proof Loop respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use the Proof Loop app and website.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, account identifier, and authentication information provided by your sign-in method.
Mission and proof data
We process the missions you create, completion status, streaks, XP, recovery actions, and proof you submit to provide the core service.
Product and device information
We may collect basic device, app version, onboarding, and product usage information to keep Proof Loop working and improve the experience.
Purchases
Subscription status and purchase records may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat. Proof Loop does not receive or store your full payment card information.
2. Camera, photos, motion, and notifications
Proof Loop requests device permissions only when a feature needs them. Camera or photo access may be used to submit proof. Motion data may support step-based recovery actions. Notifications may remind you about your missions. You can change these permissions in your device settings.
3. AI verification
When you choose AI photo verification, the selected image is sent through a secure Supabase Edge Function to Google Gemini for analysis. The image is used to evaluate the submitted proof and is not retained by Proof Loop after verification. Live push-up tracking is processed on your device.
4. Optional global leaderboard
The global leaderboard is optional. Before your profile or score is submitted to the global leaderboard, Proof Loop asks for your explicit consent. If you select Agree & Join, your profile name, selected avatar, earned XP, level, and rank are published to other signed-in Proof Loop users. Your consent choice and leaderboard data are stored on our Supabase server. If you select Not Now, your profile and score are not included in the leaderboard. You can withdraw your consent and leave the leaderboard at any time from the leaderboard screen.
5. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and secure Proof Loop.
- Track missions, proof, streaks, XP, and account progress.
- Manage subscriptions and access to paid features.
- Understand product performance and improve the app.
- Respond to support requests and important service issues.
6. Service providers
We use trusted service providers that process limited information on our behalf: Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server functions; PostHog for product analytics; RevenueCat for subscription management; Apple for App Store purchases and platform services; and Google Gemini for optional AI proof verification.
7. Storage and security
Account and progress data may be stored in the cloud so it can sync across sessions. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You can request deletion in the app through Profile → System Settings. You may also contact us for help.
9. Your choices
You can edit account information, manage device permissions, control notifications, and request account deletion. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information.
10. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for these transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Proof Loop changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
